According to the Washington Post, on August 4, local time, a lightning strike occurred in Lapit Square on the north side of the White House, causing 4 people to be seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports, all four injured were adults, and were found near the statue of Andrew Jackson at about 19:00 on the same day that 4 people injured could be life -threatening.The cause and details of the incident are still being investigated.
