German media: Asians are more positive for wealth, and European and American attitude is more negative

[Global Times Comprehensive Report] The German "World News" stated on the 4th that an international study on the attitude of society on wealth showed that Asians' views on wealth are relatively more positive, and Europe and the United States have more negative attitudes towards wealth.

According to reports, the survey is mainly aimed at 4 Asian countries in Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, and China, as well as 7 European and American countries including Germany, Britain, France, and the United States. The results showed that among all Asian countries that were investigated, the average 58%of the people set huge material prosperity as an important goal of life. The highest proportion of the Vietnamese people reached 76%.

On the contrary, only 28% of interviewees in Europe and the United States believe that material level is important. The World News said that the European people generally have a "revenge" mentality. Especially in Germany, only 1/5 people want to fight for wealth. Because in Germany, the rich man is considered a bad person and should pay more taxes. In the most popular criminal drama in Germany, the role of killers is often entrepreneurs and managers.

Studies also show that, as a whole, whether it is Asia or Europe and the United States, men want to get rich than women. The survey also listed several positive characteristics of the rich, including cleverness and diligence. (Aoki)
