According to BBC reported on August 4, a 62 -year -old French sailor drove a sailboat, and even the boat was covered in the Atlantic. The sailor was trapped under the boat for 16 hours and miracle was rescued.

At 8:23 pm local time on August 1st, a signal of help from the sea area of 22.5 kilometers near the cashi islands near the Galician islands in northwestern Spain.
After receiving the signal by the Spanish Coast Guard, a rescue ship and three helicopters carrying five divers were dispatched to find signal sources. Soon after, the rescue team found a 12 -meter -long sailing boat and was over the sea.
The rescue team then heard a knocking from the ship, realizing that someone was trapped in the cabin. However, due to the strong wind and waves at the sea and difficulty in rescue at night, the rescue team suspended rescue that night, but the buoyancy ball was installed on the ship to prevent the hull from sinking.

Rescuers said that the sailor had been trapped underwater for 16 hours, and he survived in the case of "almost impossible".
The crew has been rescued and was sent to the hospital for further examination by the helicopter of the rescue team.
