The fourth China and South Korea fishery resources joint proliferation and release activities were held simultaneously in China Yantai and South Korea Mupu

2022 is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. In order to deepen the pragmatic cooperation in the field of fisheries, on July 29, the fourth China and South Korea fishery joint proliferation and release activities were held simultaneously in Yantai City, Shandong Province, China and South Korea. Song Xianggen attended the event and delivered a speech.

Ma Youxiang pointed out that the proliferation and release of fishery resources in the Yellow Sea is of great significance for maintaining marine ecosystems, improving the productivity of the water, and promoting fishermen to increase their income. Since 2018, China and South Korea have jointly carried out three sessions of proliferation and release activities in the Yellow Sea, which reflects the attention of the two countries to protect marine fishery resources, and also reflects the high -level fishery cooperative relationship between the two sides. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the construction of ecological civilization in the waters. It has adopted a series of pragmatic measures such as marine volume seasoning, carrying out proliferation and release, construction of marine pastures, and strict law enforcement supervision. Marine fishery resources have been significantly restored.

Ma Youxiang proposed a three -point initiative: First, strengthen communication and negotiation, play the role of the existing mechanism of China and South Korea, and keep a close dialogue on fishery issues. The second is to strengthen law enforcement linkage. The maritime law enforcement departments of the two sides are standardized, fair, and civilized law enforcement. They are strictly strictly operated in accordance with the law to operate fishing vessels in violation of regulations to jointly maintain the stable order of maritime fishing. The third is to strengthen resource conservation, release the aquatic biological seedlings, carry out tentative measures to investigate and evaluate the resource survey of waters, and promote the sustainable use of the Yellow Sea fishery resources.

Representatives from the Central Foreign Affairs Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the China Maritime Police Department, the South Korean Embassy in China, the representatives of representatives of the South Korean Ministry of Marine Aquatic Products, the Chinese Consulate General of China in South Korea participated in the event in Mupu, South Korea.
