According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reported on July 24, the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on the same day that a Canadian citizen who participated in the war in Ukraine recently died in the Donbass region in the eastern part of Ukraine. Provide it with consular assistance. For privacy considerations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not disclose more details.

The U.S. State Department announced on the 23rd that two US citizens who participated in the war in Ukraine recently died in Ukraine. Reuters reported that the Canadian citizen died with the two US citizens. Neither the Foreign Affairs and the US Department offered their deaths and specific circumstances.

The Russian Ministry of National Defense reported the situation of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine on July 12. The report stated that in the past three sides, the number of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine decreased from 3,221 to 2741.
