According to the interrogation, the woman Zhang was from Hebei. In October 2020, she came to Beihai to open a "one -stop decoration rental" company in Beihai and conducted "business training" for three people such as Li.

After that, several people began to use idle empty houses in Beihai City, and managed to contact the landlord to boast that they could use the airlift and upgrade after the decoration and upgrade. The landlord must pay 10,000 to 200,000 operations in advance.

Many landlords thought it was true, and they paid the money one after another. Unexpectedly, after getting the money, the gang was not used for decoration, but instead of "making him". According to the victim's landlord, most of their houses were not decorated and configured, and some of them were simply installed with hydropower and waterproof.

Seeing that the other party was out of time, they would not pay the rent on time, nor would they refund the operating costs, and many landlords reported the case helplessly. As of the incident, the funds involved had reached nearly 5 million yuan.

The reporter learned that after preliminary statistics, more than 140 landlords have fallen into scams. Most of these landlords are foreigners and have been idle for a long time.

At present, some of the funds involved have been frozen by the Beihai Police; Zhang and other four have been detained according to law, and the case is still under investigation.
