It doesn't seem to be much, but it takes 65.7 degrees of electricity in a year. "After two or three years of standby power consumption, it is enough to buy another router."

Zhang Min, a senior engineer of the Electric Power Science Research Institute of State Grid Shanxi Province, made a simple calculation for reporters. Calculate the 12 kinds of electrical appliances such as TV, set -top boxes, and routers commonly used in urban families. A family's daily standby energy consumption is about 0.86 degrees. If the electric water heater and kitchen treasure that has been running but not used, the daily energy consumption of a family can reach 1.52 degrees of electricity daily.

Experts interviewed pointed out that under the current situation of power supply and demand, it is realistic and urgent to curb the waste of standby energy consumption. Reducing unnecessary standby energy consumption waste can reduce coal consumption, reduce carbon emissions, can also reduce basic load, alleviate the load pressure during the peak period of electricity consumption.

"The electricity costs brought by standby energy consumption are not much expensive, and it is easy to be ignored by users." Zhang Min said, but it is necessary to resolutely curb for waste of free, unnecessary, and valuable standing energy consumption.
