The RZECHORZEK team uses a newer technology -Magnetic Honochemical Photics Study studied the brain of 40 healthy people, half of which are women.

Magnetic resonance spectrum uses the nuclear magnetic resonance meter to measure the temperature in different parts of the brain. This is the first time that the technology is used to measure the temperature changes of the brain during the day and menstrual cycle.

Studies have found that the brain temperature ranges from 36.1 ° C to 40.9 ° C, and the average reading is 2.5 ° C. Rzechorzek said it was because the brain metabolism was very active.

The highest reading comes from the hill brain. This is the deepest part of the brain, and it may not be easily cooled by the vascular of the organ. "The core temperature will be higher," said Rzechorzek.

The research team also found that the temperature of the brain at night will be reduced by about 0.9 ° C, which may be because people flow to the brain more when they sleep.

In the study, the female brain in the second half of the menstrual cycle, that is, between ovulation and menstrual periods, is 0.4 ° C higher than the first half, and 0.4 ° C higher than men.

Rzechorzek said that doctors sometimes try to reduce the body temperature of patients with brain injury because they are worried that high temperature is harmful, but this method may need to change. She said: "We assume that the temperature of 40 ° C is abnormal, but there is no evidence to prove this."
