What's wrong with the black line on the baby's nails?Is it tight?

The black line of the baby's nails is called nail -like black nails or longitudinal black armor, which means that the nails and / or toenails have black lines.

There are many reasons for babies to have a black line, one of which is a mother mole (Figure 1).

The female mole is a pigment mole growing at this part of the parent (the growth base of the nail cap). It is essentially no difference in the pigment mole on the skin, and it is benign. However, the parent quality is the organization of the nails. With the growth of the nails, the melanin produced by the mother mole will also be brought to the end of the nail to form a black line.

2. Others

Other benign reasons are nailin cell activation, freckles -like moles, nail fungal disease, etc.

Nail melanocyte activation is more common, which is equivalent to pigmentation that occurs in nail tissues, which may be related to damage, drugs, and other nail disease.

Freckles -like moles are benign pigments caused by increasing epidermal melanocyte activity.

A fungal disease caused by a special fungal infection may also destroy nails and cause nails.

The malignant diseases that can cause noria threads are mainly melanoma (Figure 2).

Fortunately, the melanoma of nails rarely occurs in the children's group. Most babies' norerite lines are not melanoma. Data show that the incidence of tumor tumor among children under 10 years of age is about 0.8/1000000. Therefore, parents do not have to worry too much.
