On September 29, 2022, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and the State Council, the China Deaf Association of the National Emergency Language Service Corps, the National Sign Language and Blind Research Center, and the National General Sign Language Digital Promotion Center led 100 sentences of sign language are officially launched.

In the process of fighting the epidemic, some listening disabled people cannot timely and complete scientific and authoritative protection information and epidemic notifications through TV, radio, new media and other channels, especially for the elderly hearing disabled sign language users and literate listening without listening. The demand for people with disabilities for such language services is particularly urgent.

The development team of "100 Sentences of Emergency and Control Emergency Sentences" faces the actual needs of the front line, and a large number of sign language users of different ages, identities, and cultural backgrounds in 22 cities across the country have been interviewed. The urgently needed sign language sentences are based on the national universal sign language, and the sign language play method is collected through 12 across the country. After five experts' reviews, they will be successfully developed smoothly. "100 sentences of epidemic prevention and control emergency sign language" can also be used for medical staff and community epidemic prevention personnel during the epidemic to quickly learn to master emergency sign language.
