He and his colleagues conducted an analysis of 48 research on genetic and ischemic stroke, including 17,000 stroke patients and nearly 600,000 healthy participants who had never experienced stroke.

Researchers have found that there is a connection between the early stroke (before the age of 60) and the chromosomal area, including the gene that determines the blood type.

One of the limitations of the study is that the diversity of participants is relatively lacking. Researchers emphasized that the increase in stroke risks caused by blood types is not strong. Therefore, type A blood groups do not need to overly worry about early strokes, nor do they need to conduct additional screening or medical tests because of the above results.
