On August 23, 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that China was evaluated through the National Supervision System (NRA) of the Vaccine.

The evaluation of WHO's national regulatory system is an important measure and effective means of evaluation of the national vaccine supervision capacity. It is a world -wide recognized international assessment that can scientifically evaluate a national vaccine supervision level. my country's vaccine regulatory system has passed the evaluation twice in 2011 and 2014. In July 2022, a new round of comprehensive evaluation was ushered in the WHO upgrade evaluation standard. The evaluation indicators have increased significantly, the content is more comprehensive, and the standards are stricter.

Through evaluation, not only does China have a stable, good operation and complete and unified regulatory system, it can ensure that the quality of vaccines in production, importing or circulating in China can be controlled, safe, and effective, but also an important foundation for my country's vaccine exports worldwide. WHO will evaluate the vaccine regulatory system as the premise of purchasing the country's vaccine products, that is, only the national regulatory system can apply for the pre -certification of the WHO vaccine product and be included in the procurement list of international organizations such as the United Nations. In addition, the evaluation is also an important reference for registered and purchasing other countries for vaccine products.

Since the first assessment of the national regulatory system of the vaccine, there are many vaccines such as domestic B -type encephalitis reducing virus reducing live vaccine, type III III grystinitis reduction vaccine, and hepatitis A vaccine. Entering the international procurement list is purchased by the UNICEF, the Global Vaccine Immunization Alliance and other international institutions. Related products have been exported to dozens of countries and regions. Since the epidemic of new coronary pneumonia, three new coronary virus vaccines in my country have been included in the WHO emergency use list to help global resistance.

This time my country's vaccine regulatory system through the WHO evaluation demonstrates the international standards, regulatory capacity and level of my country's vaccine regulatory system, which can ensure the safety, effectiveness, and quality of vaccine products, so as to better protect people's health. At the same time, it is also for it. my country's vaccine products have gone abroad and helped the development of the world's public health. China can play a more positive role in the global vaccine supply, contributing to the availability and burden of vaccines in the world, especially developing countries.
