State Drug Administration: 513 varieties of generic drug consistency evaluation review passed

Whether to pass the consistency of generic drugs is one of the important indicators of the country's centralized volume. At the launch conference held by the National Health and Health Commission recently, Yuan Lin, director of the Division of the Drug Administration of the State Drug Administration, said that the State Drug Administration attaches great importance to this work, establishes and improves the standard of review technical standards, and continuously optimizes the selection of reference preparations. Consistency evaluation work has steadily advanced.

In 2015, the State Council issued the "Opinions on Reforming the Approval System for Reform of the Medical Devices for Medical Devices", which will enhance the quality of the quality of generic drugs as one of the important reform goals, and further clarify the relevant work requirements of the consistency evaluation of the quality and efficacy of generic drugs. As of now, the State Drug Administration has reviewed a total of 513 varieties, involving the consistency evaluation application of 2,555 product regulations. The quality of the listing of generic drugs has been continuously improved, which has provided strong support for deepening the reform of the medical and health system. Some of them attach importance to the varieties of R & D investment and have research and development capabilities, and have successively promoted the high -quality development of the pharmaceutical industry through consistency evaluation. With the continuous deepening of the reform of the pharmaceutical and health system and the continuous improvement of the relevant supporting system, more generic drugs will pass the consistency evaluation to better meet the needs of public medication.

Yuan Lin also said at the meeting that in recent years, the State Drug Administration has continued to promote the reform of the drug review and approval system to maintain the stability of the drug safety situation. According to statistics, since 2019, more than 2,000 drugs have been approved for listing. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, the registration applications for the listing and approval of priority review were 143, 217, and 219, respectively, further meeting the public's medication needs.
