At 8:30 on July 18, 2022, the hematological tumor center of the Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University completed two cases of rebates of commercialized CAR-T cells at the same time. One of them was 85-year-old Grandma Li (pseudonym) is also the oldest patient who has lost CAR-T cells in China to date; the other is Teacher Liu from Chongqing 43.

Professor Liu Yao introduced that after the patient lost CAR-T cells, cancer cells in the body were theoretically removed within a certain cycle. CAR-T cells have more obvious advantages in the field of hematological tumors and significant curative effects. At present, the National Drug Administration has approved the indication of recurrence/difficulty in giving it a lot of B -cell lymphoma, and the efficacy of physical tumors is still under research. At present, both patients have said that they are now going to fight cancer cells in the body. They are very excited and look forward to the effect. Professor Liu Yao said that after the loss of the patient, he will comprehensively evaluate it according to the condition, including serotics, bone marrow, and imaging. It also needs to return to one month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after transplantation. The hospital review, if there are no problems in various indicators in 3 months, then more than 70%of the patient will have a long -term alleviating, which also means that the disease is completely cured.
