"The lens is like a word"
Global Times: The series of "Outside of the Court" series of "Blind Division" and "Water Falling" and "Falling Water" are directed by Director Huang Wei. Zhang Li: During the earliest script planning stage, we communicated with the characteristics of the characters. Because the content of many scenes was tight, we discussed the temperament, lines, and even scenery of the main actors. However, there are not many discussions in the setting of the lens, because we are all came from the camera. There is not much cognitive gap in our own profession, and it belongs to the "inspection -free product".

Global Times: Most of your early works are historical dramas and war dramas. In recent years, you have also tried more themes such as commercial warfare, fantasy, suspense.
Zhang Li: Our entire creative team has the desire to try a new subject. In fact, when I am this year old, I am particularly afraid that others will say that I have a personal style. For me, I actually "scold people". It may mean solidification with its own style. In fact, every professional director is eager to try. This is eager to try. It is natural.
Global Times: Will you worry that you will be determined and deliberately choose a work with a larger contrast?
Zhang Li: It is too luxurious to say "selection". At present, the power of capital in the film and television industry is very powerful, and the room for the director's selection is getting smaller and smaller -not only to choose the subject matter, but even the basic power of some directors is slowly diluted. In this case, if you have the opportunity to contact different themes, if you have the ability, why not try it?
"Two episodes of the law" argued a lot
Global Times: "The Laws of Two Episodes" have always been a hot topic in the film and television industry. Some people think that they need to be paved in the early stage, and some people prefer to impact the plot. What do you think?
Zhang Li: In fact, this problem is unsolved, or it depends on whether the entire work is a strong plot or a strong person. If it is a strong plot, there will be problems such as a large line head, less length, and fast rhythm. Whether you can do it and you need to design well; strong characters means that the "two episodes of the law" fails, and more abandoned dramas. This is also a problem. From a non -professional perspective, as long as there is traffic, the "half -episode law" and "eight episodes laws" do not exist. I often talked with many directors in the later period. It is difficult to set the shooting tone from the beginning of the preparation. We also argued very much about the "two episodes of the law". From the script stage, because the impact of external factors on the work on the work too much. A film I made at that time asked the TV station to be responsible for the purchase of the film to watch the film. After they put forward the opinions, we re -edited and dubbed it. After finishing the TV, the TV station suddenly didn't want the film. Later, another stage also made their own requests, and we still didn't have it after the modification. In the end, we told the investors that we could modify it based on the opinions of the determined purchaser. In the end, the TV station that really purchased the film did not make much request. Therefore, sometimes it is not the fixed force of the creators. The things are very complicated. They have a lot to do with the real decision -making people and have a great relationship with the data.
Global Times: Some people say that the film and television industry encounters temporary cold winter is conducive to industry purification. How do you judge?

Global Times: What are the differences or gaps in film and television production at home and abroad?
