Our school held a seminar on "Promoting the Development of First -class Disciplines with First -class Professional Construction"

On the morning of July 2nd, a seminar on "Promoting the Development of First -class Disciplines with First -class Professional Construction" was successfully held in our school. The seminar was sponsored by the School of News and Communication, and three parallel forums were set up in the form of online and offline. Hu Zhengrong, director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of the University of China, Wei Yushan, Dean of the Chinese Academy of Press and Publication, and Liu Liqun, president of the Chinese Women's Academy, attended the meeting. Tang Xianqing, the vice president of our school, attended the opening ceremony.

On the afternoon of July 2, the second executive council of the 10th Hunan Ecological Society was held at the School of Geographical Sciences of our school. Yu Zehong, Minister of the Hunan Provincial Association of Science and Technology, Wang Kelin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Asian Subtraction Agricultural Ecology of the Hunan Provincial Academy of Sciences, the chairman of the Hunan Provincial Institute of Ecology Society, deputy director of the Institute of Asian Subqu on the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the vice president of our school Liu Zilan attended the meeting.

From July 5th to 6th, our school's 2022 -party intellectual training class was held in the China He Building Lecture Hall. Fu Jungen, deputy minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Liu Guohua, Executive Vice President of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee, Jiang Hongxin, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, and Zhou Junwu, deputy secretary of the party committee. The opening of the training class was chaired by Yang Nian, a member of the school party committee and director of the United Front Work Department.

The 19th International Xiong Peter Society of the International Berture Society hosted by our school

From July 8th to 10th, the 19th Conference of the International Joseph A. SCHUMPEER SOCIETY hosted by our school was held. This meeting adopted the form of "online+offline". More than 500 experts and scholars from more than 20 countries around the world gathered to discuss "new kinetic energy for technological progress and global sustainable development." The principal of our school, Liu Qijun, attended the meeting and gave an opening speech. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the International Xiong Peter Society and the director of the Economic Research Center of our school.

Liu Qijun attended the unveiling ceremony of the Xiangjiang Laboratory

On July 10, the unveiling ceremony of the Xiangjiang Laboratory was held in Beidou Industrial Park in Changsha High -tech Zone. Chen Fei, deputy governor of Hunan Province, Chen Xiaohong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, unveiled the laboratory. The principal of our school Liu Qijun attended the unveiling ceremony and accepted the plaque of the "Hunan Normal University Branch of Xiangjiang Laboratory" on behalf of the school.
