Leaded by senior writing teacher Mi Chun, the teaching seminar of the "Reading and Writing" teaching seminar on the English Department of the School of Language and Literature of Nanhua University was successfully held.
After the revision of the 2022 version of the training plan, in the face of the improvement of national teaching guidelines on curriculum teaching, and the proposal of the "gender once" of professional teaching in the new era, the English professional training scheme has integrated and reorganized the original courses. Among them, the original "English Reading" and "English Writing" were merged into "English Reading and Writing". In this revision, the original curriculum teaching team also faced a new problem: how does the course group merge? How to divide the labor after merging? The curriculum is opened in the second grade of the sophomore, how to distribute the teaching content? How to pay attention to connection and high? In response to these issues, the English department held a seminar on exhibition teaching, and Mi Chunyi, a senior writing teacher who was about to retire, stirred up the beam.
After the final examination of the semester, the teachers of the Department of English at the school gathered in the Conference Room 803, the 803 of the Hongxiang Campus, and conducted a warm discussion on the teaching method and reform of the "English Reading and Writing". Mi Chun first demonstrated the main process and teaching methods of her usually writing curriculum teaching. The unique writing seminar in the classroom attracted everyone's attention. Student evaluation, student lectures, student debates, student theory ... truly student -centered, student works as the core, evaluate each other, and improve each other. The atmosphere of the class was hot, the students were busy, the thinking opened, and dare to say dare to do it. In the process of theory and debate, around the theme of writing, students really exercise are the improvement of the comprehensive ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Subsequently, everyone conducted detailed discussions on the screening and adoption of the new teaching materials, the division of labor and personnel allocation of four semester teaching tasks, the input and output of teaching content. The two -day seminar made the teachers feel "charging".
