Professor Lin Xuemin of Shanghai Jiaotong University Antai College was selected as a foreign academician of the European Academy of Sciences

Recently, the European Academy of Humanities and Natural Sciences (Academia Europaea) announced the list of newly elected academicians in 2022. Professor Lin Xuemin, director of the Department of Data and Business Intelligence Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University of Economics and Management, was selected.

Professor Lin Xuemin, currently a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, director of the Department of Data and Business Intelligence Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Antai University of Economics and Management, IEEE FELLOW. The person in charge of the college database and knowledge research office, while serving as a special guest professor and a visitor professor at Tsinghua University.

Professor Lin Xuemin has been engaged in the research work of database theory, diagram data query mining, time and space data query, flow data query, text matching query, uncertain data query query and diagram data visualization. He has an important academic influence in this field. He has published more than 440 papers, including more than 200 CCF A -level academic papers in the international top academic conference and international topics in the academic field.

Professor Lin Xuemin's current main academic partnerships include IEEE FELLOW and top international journals IEEE TRANSACTION on Knowledge and Data Engineering (Editor-in-Chief). He has served as the editorial board of the international top journal ACM Transaction Systems (2008-2014), and He has been invited to be a program member of top -level conferences such as Sigmod, VLDB, ICDE, KDD.

Professor Lin Xuemin is the founding director of the Department of Data and Commerce of the School of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiaotong University.
