Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology has added 2 new majors to pass the Chinese engineering education major certification

Recently, the China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association announced the 2021 professional certification conclusion and certification mid -term review conclusion. 2 majors including information engineering and software engineering of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology have passed certification for 6 years; 4 majors including measurement and control technology and instruments, electronic information engineering, communication engineering, and automation have passed mid -term review.

Engineering education professional certification is an evaluation of qualifications guided by cultivating goals and graduation export requirements. It is an international engineering education quality guarantee system. It is also an important foundation for the international mutual recognition of engineering education and international mutual recognition of engineers. The core of the certification is to confirm that the graduates of the engineering majors meet the established quality standards recognized by the industry.

It is reported that the school is one of the first batch of colleges and universities in the Ministry of Education to carry out engineering education. In 2007, computer science and technology majors have opened a new chapter in school quality construction as the first batch of pilot majors in the country. The school takes the opportunity of engineering education professional certification to implement the three concepts of "output -oriented, student center, and continuous improvement" in professional construction, continue to deepen professional connotative development, and continuously improve the quality of professional talent training. As of now, a total of 12 majors in the school have passed certification and covered 55%of the students in the school.
