Li Shucai, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1965. He is a native of Lishui, Hebei, a member of the Communist Party of China, a doctorate in engineering, a professor, a doctoral supervisor, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Li Shu was studying in the Civil Engineering Department of Shandong Academy in September 1983. He received a bachelor's degree in engineering and master's degree in engineering. From June 1993 to July 1996, he studied at the Wuhan Rock and Land Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and obtained a doctorate degree in engineering. Since September 1996, he has worked at the Wuhan Geotechnical Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and has been hired as an associate researcher and researcher.

Li Shucai served as the director of the Geotechnical Engineering Center of Shandong University in March 2001. He was hired as a professor. In April 2002, he served as Deputy Dean of the School of Civil Construction and Water Conservancy of Shandong University. In July 2015, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong University, and in May 2020, he also served as Dean of the Graduate School of Shandong University.
