Rao Zhenghao: The process of trying to solve the problem is very wonderful

Rao Zhenghao, born in 1996, was born in Wuhan, Hubei. He was admitted to the School of Mathematics of Mathematics in Peking University in 2015. The youngest winner comes from Peking University

Among the winners of this competition, the youngest player is only 16 years old. He is Qu Xiaoyu. He has also become the youngest winner in the competition.

In July of this year, Qu Xiaoyu, who was still studying in Panshu Middle School in Chongqing, has won the 63rd International Mathematical Olympic (IMO) gold medal in 2022. His Chinese Mathematics Olympic National Team is also the IMO competition to enter the first team to picked gold after this century, breaking the United States for 28 years.

Takeover from the "Golden Generation"

Around 2000, a number of outstanding young people appeared in the Chinese mathematics community. They entered the School of Mathematics and Sciences of Peking University and achieved remarkable results in the field of mathematics. Liu Ruchuan, Liu Yifeng, Xiao Liang, Xu Chenyang, Yuan Xinyi, Xun Zhiwei, Zhang Wei, Zhu Yanwen ... They are the leaders of today's mathematics research community, known as the "golden generation" of Mathematics of Peking University.

Today, more than 20 years later, the disciples of the "Golden Generation" have also begun to show their sharpness. Golden Award winner Chen Zeun is a student of Liu Ruchuan, a professor at the School of Mathematics and Science of Peking University; Qu Xiaoyu, the youngest winner of the competition over the years, is a student instructed by Xiao Liang, a professor at the School of Mathematics of Mathematics of Peking University.

Alibaba Global Mathematics Competition (or "Seyo") is a public welfare event co -organized by the China Science and Technology Association and co -organized by Alibaba Public Welfare United Dharma Institute.It has been held for four sessions since 2018, and has attracted about 200,000 people to participate.
