The 20th National Scientific Philosophy and Academic Conference was held

From September 24th to 25th, the 20th National Science and Philosophy Professional Committee co -sponsored by the China Nature Dialectics Research Association Science and Philosophy Professional Committee, Shanxi University Science and Technology Philosophy Research Center, and the School of Philosophy and Social Sciences.

At the opening ceremony, Professor You Yang, Dean of the School of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shanxi University, Professor Liu Xiaoting, vice chairman of the China Natural Dialectics Research Association, and Professor Zhu Jing of the Conference Affairs Committee. Professor Takayama, Shanxi University, Professor Liu Xiaoli of Renmin University of China, Professor Liu Chuang University of Fudan University, Associate Professor Hu Xingming of Nanjing University, and Dr. Ren Steng of Tsinghua University made the lecture.

In a two -day meeting, there were more than 400 from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Sun Yat -sen University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, East China Normal University, Xiamen University and other domestic and foreign universities and research institutions. Experts and scholars and graduate students attended the meeting. Participants conducted discussions on topics such as general scientific philosophy, formal science and physics philosophy, artificial intelligence and cognitive science philosophy, social science philosophy, life science philosophy, scientific practice philosophy, scientific and technological ethics.

It is understood that the scientific philosophy and academic conference is the highest level of academic conference in the field of scientific and philosophy research in my country, which is held every two years. Affected by the new crown epidemic, the academic conference originally scheduled to be held in Taiyuan in August 2021 was changed to online this year, and it was agreed to hold the 21st National Science and Philosophy Academic Conference in Taiyuan, Shanxi. The two consecutive national conferences of science philosophy are hosted by Shanxi University, which will effectively promote the construction of first -class disciplines in school philosophy and further enhance the subject influence of scientific and technological philosophy.
