In 2022, there were 493 teams of 27 universities in Liaoning University Student Life Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition participating in the competition, including 170 scientific inquiry groups, 158 innovation results groups, and 165 entrepreneurial results groups. The number of participating units and the participating projects have been increased compared to the previous year, showing the attractiveness of the competition, effectively gathered science and technology resources and double innovation talents in the field of life sciences in the province, and became an effective carrier for brothers' colleges to promote cooperation and exchanges. Through the project review and online review, 250 teams won the first, second and third prizes, of which 111 teams were finalized in the finals to compete for the first prize of the three tracks.
