On September 20, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce international cooperation and exchanges since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In the past 10 years, a total of 512 students from 93 countries came to China to study.

Qin Changwei introduced that my country and UNESCO have established the Girls and Women's Education Awards. The awards such as the Confucius Education Award and the Asia -Pacific Education Innovation Wenhui Award established before are ensuring the right to educate the right to educate, especially girls and women. The impact of the construction of a lifelong learning and high -quality education system has expanded, and it has produced a good demonstration and incentive effect.

In the past 10 years, 30 projects from 24 countries have won the Confucius Education Award, 13 projects from 13 countries won the Girls and Women's Education Awards, and 16 projects from 13 countries won the Wenhui Award. The my country -UNESCO Trust Fund project established by China was successfully implemented, benefiting 12 African countries, and played a positive role in supporting the training of project national teachers, promoting the development of higher vocational education, and improving the quality of education, and was welcomed by the project country.

He said that my country is actively participating in the implementation of the global sustainable development education agenda in 2030, and serves as a member of the 2030 High -level Education Guidance Committee and a working mechanism of the 2030 Education Monitoring Indicators Technology Cooperation Group and Teacher Working Group. Professor Lin Yifu of Peking University serves as a member of the "Education Future" International Committee of Education.

Qin Changwei also revealed that my country has actively participated in the key plan and flagship project of UNESCO. In the past 10 years, a total of 15 World Heritage Sites have been included in the World Heritage List. In the "World Memory List", 15 geological parks have joined the UNESCO World Geopark Network, and 5 biosphere reserves are added to the World Biosphere Reserve.

In addition, many cities, projects, and individuals in my country have won education and science and technology awards by UNESCO. For example, four cities including Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Shanghai won the UNESCO Learning Cities Award. The National Open University's "One Village and One College Student" project won the UNESCO Award.
