The 19th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit are being held in Nanning, Guangxi. Guangxi and ASEAN countries are connected with the geographical connection, the family relationship, and the relationship between the laws and fate, and have the conditions to carry out educational exchanges and cooperation with the ASEAN countries. In recent years, especially in the context of the “Belt and Road” initiative, Guangxi has actively promoted the in -depth exchanges and close cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the field of education, laying a thick cultural foundation for promoting the common knowledge of the people.

Constructing the China-ASEAN school exchange platform. With the help of the China-ASEAN Expo, Guangxi takes school exchanges as the starting point, actively build a platform for ASEAN education exchanges and cooperation, and deepen education and cooperation with Education with ASEAN countries. Promote the exchange and learning of China-ASEAN teachers and students. Teachers and students are the main body of promoting China-ASEAN education exchanges and cooperation. Guangxi gives full play to the role of teachers and students to create good conditions for their exchanges and learning. China and all member states of ASEAN have signed the "Bilateral Education Exchange Cooperation Agreement", and signed the "Mutual Agreement of Bilateral Higher Education Academic degrees" with Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Laos to strive to create an educational cooperation system. Guangxi, as the only provincial and regional provinces in China with ASEAN land and sea, has become an active area for academic research with ASEAN countries.
