The two professors of our school won the "Scientific Exploration Award" in 2022

On September 15th, the winning list of the "Scientific Exploration Award" in 2022 was announced that 50 young scientists were on the list. Among them, two young scientists in East China University of Technology won awards. They are Professor Yang Qiang in the energy environment and Professor Zhang Xiancheng in the field of advanced manufacturing. This is also the first time that Chinese teachers have won the award.

The "Scientific Exploration Award" is a public welfare award led by scientists and supported by the Tencent Foundation. It is one of the highest domestic youth scientific and technological talent funding programs. The award is facing basic science and cutting -edge technologies, and no more than 50 winners are selected each year. By 2021, the "Scientific Exploration Award" funded 150 outstanding young scientists.

Yang Qiang, a professor, a doctoral supervisor, and a winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. He is currently the secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of East China University of Technology, and the director of the Marine Ecology and High -end Equipment Technology Engineering Center. Mainly engaged in the research and development of water pollution prevention technology and equipment, especially in terms of new technical principles, reform technology and engineering governance around the development of sewage treatment around the marine oil and gas development, solved the Nanhai 100 billion square gas field platform and Bohai 100 million tons Class heavy oil field platforms produce wastewater treatment problems, and promote the application to 50 domestic and foreign engineering projects, forming 1 national standard and 3 industry standards. He was selected as Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Talent, Shanghai Technology Leader, and National Outstanding Youth Science Fund.

Zhang Xiancheng, a professor, a doctoral supervisor, is currently the dean of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of East China University of Technology, the director of the key laboratory of the Ministry of Pressure System and the Ministry of Safety Education, Director Director of the Sexual Collaborative Innovation Center, has long been committed to the theory and technical research of equipment long life safety guarantee theory and technical research in high temperature/low temperature and rigorous environment. The three aspects such as improving technology have contributed, and the results are applied to the design, manufacturing and operation and maintenance of key equipment such as aviation engines, aerospace engines, and heavy -duty combustion engines. He has won 1 Henry Granjon Award, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Youth Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award, and 1 Youth Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Chinese Society of Machinery Engineering. The science and technology excellent youth science fund and other plans are the deputy editor or editor -in -chief of 10 domestic and foreign journals including J Mater Sci Technol. Promote team building, talent training, and front -line teaching.
