I studied under the financial major of the School of Economics of Zhejiang University. The Zhejiang University Economics Institute is a very strong academic atmosphere. There are many teachers who are devoted to academic research. They also pay great attention to the teaching of basic theories and methods in the field of economics. In such an atmosphere, I also started some scientific research attempts under the guidance of the teacher. In the process, I was boring and tired, but it was also accompanied by the fun of exploring discovery. On the other hand, in the process of internship practice and communication with the seniors of the teacher, I continuously improved my awareness of the financial industry, and gradually found a general development direction in combination with my personality characteristics and living habits: Still entering the industry, I want to do a research work. At this point, the idea of ​​studying a doctorate degree in finance is also rooted in my heart.

The relationship with Wudaokou is largely because of my undergraduate tutor Zhu Yanjian, Professor Zhu Yanjian -he is a person who loves academic research and is very enthusiastic and interesting in life. He is also a 2002 master's alumni of Wu Daokou Finance College. When I told him the idea of ​​reading a doctorate in my junior year, he was very happy and then recommended his alma mater to me. This is naturally not the first time I have heard the name of "Wu Daokou", but this is the first time I dare to imagine that this red wall courtyard called "Financial Huangpu" has a substantial intersection with me. Later, I listened to the admissions preaching, submitting application materials, and participating in the selection of spring order, but in the process, I was always embarrassed: I remember the confusion when the written test preparations were unable to start. The torment of a minute before the interview. Looking back now, that a small paragraph strives to open the fog on the road, walk forward step by step, and try to realize your own days. It is always a valuable wealth. To this day, I still think that being able to be accepted by Wudaokou is my luck.

As for why we continue to choose finance, I think the most attractive point of the financial discipline and financial industry is its diversity. In the process of learning, I can feel the scientific accuracy of its mathematics as the support, and I can also appreciate the artistic vagueness reflected in the cross -disciplinary disciplines such as sociology and psychology. Such a diversity is rare in other disciplines. The study at the undergraduate stage allowed me to open the door of this charming discipline a little, and I saw the scenery of the courtyard.
