Zhang Zhenle's various vegetables in the ground are like a few treasures. When he walked to the sheep rural, he picked a weed on the ground and handed it to me. "Do you want to feed them? The children like it."
This elementary school is full of labor. There are 20 acres of vibrant farms in front of you, and more than 70 plants are planted before and after, and more than 10 animals have been raised. Take a few steps from the gate of the campus, the most central position is a monopoly wheat field. Zhang Zhenle is a native of Changlu Town, Fuyang. After graduating from Yanzhou Normal School, he teaches in Fuyang. The "new labor education" that he proposed and practiced in Fuchun Qi was a little famous in the province and even the national education community. No matter how difficult it is, let the children move
At the beginning of the school, Zhang Zhenle had always had a knot. A survey of more than 1,000 students in the school in 2009 showed that 91%of students lack a personal experience of farming labor, and 70.3%of students do not participate in daily labor. Zhang Zhenle, who grew up in the countryside, believes that the role of labor education on children's growth cannot be ignored.
"You have to let the children have a labor place on campus." Zhang Zhenle thought. He noticed that the land next to the playground belonged to the surrounding villagers, but was basically deserted. He found the villagers who wanted to rent a vegetable land, and the villagers asked, "What kind of dishes do you grow well?"
Some villagers do not want to rent the land to the school, and go to the school to find Zhang Zhenle for three days. Every time there are villagers come, no matter how busy he is, he will receive himself. "Why is it not the same thing for children to learn vegetables?" When it was excited, Zhang Zhenle, who had always been gentle, speaking a little higher. This situation lasted for nearly half a year, and the villagers saw the principal's persistence, and they finally loosened for the students.
"President Zhang is such a person. As long as it is helpful to the growth of the students, even if there is a lot of difficulties, he will think of various ways to solve it." Colleague Yuan Chaoyang commented on Zhang Zhenle.
The farm was ready, and then the labor class encountered resistance. Parents do not understand, "Just have good academic performance, why do you need to learn to grow vegetables?" The teachers did not understand that the teaching tasks were not light. Do you have time to teach children to grow vegetables? What should I teach? Everyone was confused, and I didn't know where to start. In the process of implementing labor education throughout the school, Zhang Zhenle decided to lift the fire by himself.
"The principal wants to take a public class on the farm!" For a while, the news spread throughout the campus. The theme of this class is to study rapeseed in spring. At the beginning, Zhang Zhenle was not sure. I didn't know that the children liked this way or did not know that the teachers were recognized. On the day of the class, half of the teachers in the school came. Zhang Zhenle took the children to observe rapeseed and wrote it with a pen; discuss the growth process of rapeseed and how to become vegetable oil. Zhang Zhenle has always believed that labor education is not a simple work, but to penetrate research and creation throughout the labor process.
In 2018, Zhang Zhenle extended the eyes of labor education to the campus. He wanted the children to go to the wider space such as the countryside to exercise practice. This idea is not easy to become reality. Zhang Zhenle ran some rural areas, hoping to let the children learn to insert rice, cut rice, and do farm work with farmers, but they repeatedly touched the wall.
Zhang Zhenle did not give up. He took the children's labor photos and materials in the school. He ran seven or eight times in a place and talked to farmers from house to the house. At each experience, Zhang Zhenle will go to the countryside with the children to live and work with local farmers. Hua Jinfu, a villager in Xiande Village, Dongqiao Town, impressed. "The principal is very special, not much, and no farm work will do it, and it is decent." Hua Jinfu, 74, said that Zhang Zhenle went to the past few years. His family does not do ten times. Driven by Zhang Zhenle, Fuyang District set off a "new labor education" practical experience activity.
"Children should have played the mud before the age of 12,"
In life, Zhang Zhenle is interested in extensive, which is also the starting point of his advocating labor education. The childhood experience was inspired by Zhang Zhenle. When he was a child, he was naughty. He grabbed fish in the stream and made a nest for birds. He was happy all day long. But that kind of happiness, now children rarely have the opportunity to experience it. Therefore, he proposed "30 things that should be done before the age of 12" in the school, including playing with mud, wild night walks, and climbing trees ... As soon as he proposed, he captured the hearts of the children and could still play like this.
Whenever I see the children weeding and fertilizing, measuring the height of the wheat in the farm, and the turning of the sunflower, Zhang Zhenle will always walk over with them, ask questions, or guide, and take the children to recognize the various small small on campus on campus. bird. In Zhang Zhenle's office, the children's labor works can be seen everywhere: the chili sauce made by seven or eight bottles of children on the table, and the woodworking works made by the children by themselves. All kinds of "small things" in labor have also been regarded as an opportunity for education by Zhang Zhenle. Zhang Zhenle always likes to tell the story of a rabbit: "There was a rabbit raised in the farm biting a classmate who feed it. Can this rabbit still stay in the school?" He gave the decision to the school. What surprised everyone was that no student in the school wanted to send the rabbit away, but discussed how to feed the rabbit scientifically together.
Zhang Zhenle often took the children to sell vegetables with the children. It was much more than any class, and the money obtained from selling vegetables was donated to the children of the mountains. "Children and merchants sip and sell vegetables together, they can work hard." Teacher Dai Jun, who once taught in Fuchunqi Primary School, recalled that students saw that they were very popular when they saw the dishes they planted, and they worked even more.
"Slowly, there are fewer leftovers leftovers in the cafeteria; as soon as there are idleness, children will look at the plants they planted; during the holidays, children will take the initiative to help their parents to do some housework." Zhang Zhenle counts the students' progress. Bit bit. After a lapse of 13 years, another investigation made Zhang Zhenle feel relieved. Nearly 94%of the school's students will actively organize schoolbags, do housework, clean up rooms, etc. It is not difficult to find that from the beginning that students are unwilling to work, to increasingly rich labor courses and experiences, students and schools have undergone tremendous changes.
