Students of Yinchuan University of Science and Technology won the award in the National College Student Olympic Mathematics Competition

Our school students won one gold, silver award, and bronze award in this competition. The award -winning level and quantity are at the forefront of universities in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The National College Student Olympic Mathematics Competition was jointly organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Science of the International (Macau) Academy of Academic Research and the Hong Kong Mathematical Research and Application Society. The purpose is to promote the potential of the advanced knowledge of mathematics, comprehensive ability, and mathematical research to help the development of mathematical education. The event is for all Chinese students, and does not distinguish mathematics and non -digital majors, that is, discover and cultivate more mathematical enthusiasts from high -standard events.

The first National University Student Olympic Mathematics Competition was held on May 29, 2022. This competition attracted more than 700 colleges and universities to participate. There are 37 985 colleges and 102 universities including universities and Xi'an Jiaotong University. It can be described as a master!

In recent years, the leaders of Yinchuan Science and Technology College attach great importance to the reform of discipline competitions and teaching models, and have given funds support and material guarantee to participating students. The Teacher Education College actively explores the teaching concept of "promoting learning with competition, promoting teaching with competition, and promoting training" in teaching. Establish a "mentor responsibility system" tracking learning management model. After more than two years of follow -up learning and training, this time our school sent three non -mathematical professional contestants to participate in the competition. Faced with many major majors across the country, our school students were not afraid of the field and lived up to expectations. In the end, Fan Hao of the School of Information Engineering won 1 gold award, and Li Yaxuan and Jiang Xiaoyu of the School of Finance and Economics won one silver and bronze awards respectively. Judging from the quality and winning rate of the award, they are all in the forefront of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

In this competition, our school students competed on the same stage with well -known university students at home and abroad, accumulated participation experience, broaden the international perspective, and also demonstrated the spirit of challenges of our university's courage to challenge, face difficulties, and strive for upstream. This award is not only the stage of the school's education and teaching work, but also the inspection and affirmation of the teaching effects of school teachers and students. It will further promote the reform of the school's application -oriented talent training model in depth.
