President Guo Dongming attended the "2022 · Cross -Strait Higher Education (Beijing) Summit Forum" and made a keynote report

On August 31, President Guo Dongming was invited to participate in the "2022 · Cross -Strait Higher Education (Beijing) Summit Forum" held by the Cross -Strait Youth Summit in Beijing University of Science and Technology. The forum is the theme of "two sides of the strait, co -speaking talents". More than 120 university presidents, experts and scholars from more than 40 universities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait attended the meeting.

President Guo Dongming of Dalian University of Technology made a keynote report entitled "Comprehensive Improvement of the Quality of Talent Cultivation to Create a new situation of first -class undergraduate education". The report pointed out that, as the cradle of innovation bases and talent growth, universities must actively act in a wave of new rounds of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change in the world, play the role of talent training, and create a new situation of first -class undergraduate education. The report shared the exploration and practice of large -scale work on service industry and society, comprehensively improving the quality of talent training, as well as the development of young students in Taiwan, and proposed large -scale work of high -quality talents for the joint cultivation of high -quality talents on both sides of the strait.

The "2022 · Cross -Strait Higher Education (Beijing) Summit Forum" is held in a combination of online and offline, mainly including the opening ceremony, the main forum, and 6 parallel forums. Construction of hot issues in the fields of cross -strait higher education have developed extensive and in -depth exchanges.

The forum also organized awards ceremony of the "Xinchuang Future" cross -strait college student integrated circuit and electronic design invitations. The Grand Workers participated in the prize. The participating teams of Beijing University of Science and Technology and Central Plains have won special prizes at the same time.

"2022 · Cross -Strait Higher Education (Beijing) Summit Forum" is not only an important platform for exchanges and dialogue between colleagues in the higher education community on both sides of the strait, but also a link between deepening the friendship between colleges and universities on both sides of the Straits.
