Recently, Dr. Feng Shuai, a young teacher at the School of Physics of our school, collaborated with the Shanghai Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the researchers at the Harvard Institute in the United States. 262, 6) Published an article entitled "The Velocity Map Asymmetry of Ionized Gas in manga.i.i. The catalog and general proterties". Dr. Feng Shuai is the first author of this article. Dr. Feng Shuai and researcher Shen Shiyin of the Shanghai Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are the author of the joint communication.

The galaxy in the universe does not exist in isolation, but is frequently exchanged with the surrounding environment, forming a complete set of cosmic ecosystems. How to detect this material exchange from observation and unveil the driving force of galaxy growth has become one of the core goals of astronomy research in the next ten years. Because the heavy sub -material circulation process in the galaxy (such as the inner flow of the gas and the outer flow) will have a significant impact on the gas components, especially the ionization gas, so the observation of the ionizing gas in the galaxy will be the theoretical model of the galaxy ecosystem. Provide strong observation evidence.

Dr. Feng Shuai's research group and researchers at the Shanghai Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Observatory, and the Haval College of the United States work closely. Based on the SDSS-IV MANGA, the spectrum observation data of the point field of more than 5,000 near-neighboring galaxies is conducted Systematic analysis, and use the asymmetricity of the speed field to depict the intensity of the non -rotation movement of the internal ionization gas inside the album. According to the analysis of this data, there is a strong correlation between the internal flow and outflow of the non -symmetrical speed field and the gas, and this feature not only appears in the special galaxy (such as the co -galaxy and the active galaxy) There are also a large number of China. The results of the research indicate the asymmetricity of the speed field can be widely used in the study of the non -rotating motion of ionizing gas, and the follow -up research based on this data will provide more observation constraints for the galaxy's heavy material cycle. The work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hebei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the doctoral research launch fund of Hebei Normal University.
