CATTI international version certificate is recognized by many countries

Recently, after the Chinese Foreign Literature Agency CATTI Project Management Center and the South Korea International Tongzhi Translation Association, the China Catti International Edition (International Chinese General Translation Proficiency Test) Certificate and South Korea's ITT (International Translation Qualification Examination) certificate were mutually recognized. The mutual replacement of this certificate is an important step in the internationalization process of my country's translation qualification examination, marking that the Chinese translation standards have been recognized internationally. At the same time, the CATTI international version is promoting the interoperability and interchange work with authoritative language certificates with other countries. Among them, the mutual recognition of the Australian NAATI translation certificate has entered a substantive stage.

CATTI International Edition Full Camer International Chinese General Translation Capability Test, sponsored by the China Foreign Literary and Art Bureau, the Catti Project Management Center of the China Foreign Literature and Cultural Bureau is responsible for organizing and implementing it. Since its launch in December 2020, it has attracted more than 70 countries and regions around the world. Chinese and foreign candidates are actively participating.

As an important part of China's translation capacity evaluation level, the international version of the Catti has been included in key projects of international communication capabilities, and it has played for promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, enhancing Chinese international influence, selection of professional and technical foreign language talents, and serving abroad. The CATTI international version of the exam has opened the test types including English, Japanese, and Korean. In the later period, Malay, Russian, German, etc. will be opened one after another. In addition, the Catti International Edition exams in Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan, and Tokyo, respectively.

It is understood that in the second half of 2022, the Catti International Edition Exam will be held on December 10th and 11th. Candidates can log in to the official website of CATTI from September 1st to November 13th. This test will include English, Japanese, Korean, and Malay.
