In order to comprehensively strengthen the education community education in the region, the Education Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Office of the Elderly, the Development and Reform Commission, and the Finance Department organized the pilot construction of the elderly education community education and teaching points of vocational colleges. A few days ago, the first batch of 37 elderly education community education and teaching points pilot colleges were determined and announced.

Through the pilot, the advantages of vocational colleges, places, and teaching facilities will be further played, and they will be widely faced with the grassroots and covered. Community education resources and actively build an elderly education community education system. Inner Mongolia Open University will take the initiative to participate in the pilot work, and undertake the social functions of the construction of a lifelong education system for the autonomous region from funding, theoretical research, business guidance, resource development, policy consulting, information services and personnel training. Education, old age office, development and reform, and financial departments will increase their support for pilot institutions in terms of policies, funds, and project resource allocation, and accelerate the development of education community education for the elderly.
