Chongqing Police College is a full -time public security college hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government for four years and under the management of Chongqing Public Security Bureau and the guidance of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission.

The predecessor of the Chongqing Police College was the Chongqing Public Security School established in 1950; in 1982, the Chongqing People's Police School was established; in 2001, the Chongqing People's Police School and Chongqing Public Security School merged and formed Chongqing Police Vocational College; March 2012 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Police Vocational College was upgraded to a public security undergraduate college, and the school name was changed to Chongqing Police Academy.

In 2022, 550 full -time undergraduate public security students are planned. Girls account for 10%of the total number of enrollment. Among them, there are 170 enrollment of historical planning and 380 physics programs. Boys plan to enroll 495 students (153 historical categories, 342 physics), and 55 students plan to enroll (17 historical categories and 38 physics categories). Volunteers and admission

Students shall implement police management during the school and authorize a system of police uniforms.
