Three Gorges University ranked 51st in the National Medical College

On August 4, the authorities of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences released the report of the scientific and technological quantity (STEM) of the Chinese Medical College in 2021. In 2021, STEM of Chinese Medical College STEM covers 110 independent medical schools qualified for graduate enrollment and comprehensive universities (excluding military medical schools) of medical disciplines (excluding military medical schools). Provincial colleges and universities are ranked first. At the same time, the five -year scientific and technological value (ASTEM) of the Chinese Medical College was also released. The Three Gorges University School of Medicine ranked 66th and ranked first among Hubei Provincial College.

Driven by the innovation and development of scientific knowledge, the construction of world -class universities has become the focus of work in the world and its higher education systems. Medicine is an important part of my country's discipline system. Medical scientific and technological evaluation is a basic work to promote the development of medical innovation. It should establish an evaluation system with Chinese characteristics according to the characteristics of colleges and universities.

The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences has released the results of the scientific and technological evaluation of Chinese hospitals since 2014, and proposed the concept of "scientific and technological value" in 2018 to cover the full chain of innovative activities. Three aspects of scientific and technological conditions comprehensively calculate the breadth and depth of scientific and technological activities.

It is understood that in 2019, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences first explored STEM research in medical institutions in order to lead the development of medical institutions based on evaluation activities and help medical scientific and technological innovation. The construction of the STEM multi -dimensional evaluation system of the STEM of the Hospital of China Medical College, combined with the practical construction and research of the discipline of medical colleges, is included in the engineering research center of the Ministry of Education, the International Cooperation Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, and the Excellent Achievement Award of Scientific Research in Higher Education.
