The National College Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition is one of the competitions that are included in the "List of Three Evaluations of the Ministry of Education's Three Evaluations and One Competition Reservation Projects" approved by the Ministry of Education. This competition is led by the concept of "Four New" construction. It aims to implement the fundamental tasks of Lideshu people, promote the integration and innovation and development of information technology and education and teaching, guide teachers to teach books and educate people, and improve the quality of undergraduate talents. The competition has two tracks: universities and local universities. Each track is divided into three groups: positive high group, deputy high group, intermediate and below groups. The competition review session includes three parts: classroom teaching video, reporting of curriculum teaching innovation achievements, and teaching innovation design reports. A total of 60,879 teachers from 1195 universities in 31 areas of the competition participated in the school competition and 18,407 teachers participated in the provincial competition, covering 13 discipline categories. A total of 406 teachers (teams) of 267 colleges and universities participated in the national competition, of which 205 teachers (teams) participated in the live competition. After fierce competition, a total of 63 first prizes, 142 second prizes, and 201 of the third prizes were awarded.
