Sinoshi University traveled nearly 3,000 kilometers and came to Nanhua County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, who helped, and used professional knowledge to create a colorful summer class for local children.

"The teacher finally came to see us!" As soon as the practice group arrived at the entrance of Siyuan Experimental School in Nanhua County, the children cheered and ran over. Since 2019, Zhongshi has launched various assistance projects in Nanhua County, and online and offline teaching has been one of them. The school dispatched the first support group to South China in 2021 to carry out one -year support services. At the same time, hundreds of elder brothers and sisters in the school also taught their children to learn knowledge and broaden their horizons through online methods. Because of the epidemic, many online teaching volunteers have been delayed to come to Nanhua to meet with children. This summer, the children finally looked forward to the "big friends" who accompanied them online.

On July 28, under the leadership of Han Jin, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Chemistry Engineering and Environment, 13 practical group members arrived as appointment. They not only brought small gifts for children, but also brought them rich and diverse summer courses. The story of professional science, traditional culture, Winter Olympics ... Speaking of Haitang Xiaoye Lantern, Li Yongyu's children and Zhang Jingwen of the Practice Group also have an agreement. On May 4 this year, the school Youth League Committee created the first "Sinoshiko Youth Forest" in the next hundred begonia trees in the South China seals. After finishing the begonia light, Yang Zhizheng, a member of the practical group, painted with the children a 6 -meter -long green ecological scroll to engrave this poetic warmth in South China.

In order to improve the children's environmental awareness, Li Maosu, the person in charge of the practical group and deputy secretary of the school league committee, took a vivid "garbage classification class". It is specially used to collect recyclable garbage such as beverage cans. Children are deeply attracted by the appearance of the milk cup and unique straw shape. In two hours, everyone worked together and experienced the steps of manual cutting "straws" and polishing the port port.

It is understood that the Siyuan Experimental School is a school built in Dashan, and most of them are children with poor students and left -behind children. The school's teachers are relatively weak. Most classes can only be equipped with two teachers, and there are few interests and science and technology teachers. So far, 500 volunteers from the University of Petroleum (Beijing) have carried out cloud support tutoring activities for 1090 primary and secondary school students in Nanhua County, Yunnan Province. The total length of education is over 14,796 hours.

"We will continue to work hard to bring more exciting courses to the children," said Zhou Xuezhi, secretary of the school Youth League committee. The volunteers of the Practice Group will further combine the "double reduction" policy and the local school conditions, and bring more "customized funds" courses to children in the mountains.
