According to the competition organizing committee, this year's participation scale and project types have reached a record high, with more than 95,000 projects and more than 430,000 people register for the competition. On the basis of the preliminary competitions of each school, 4079 items are recommended to enter the provincial competition, a total of 774 rematch projects are generated, and 386 projects have entered the semi -final game. From biomedical, ecological environmental protection, rural revitalization to smart cities, big data, artificial intelligence, and new energy technology, the participating projects cover all walks of life.

386 participating projects in the on -site competition were divided into 20 groups, which were closed to review. The participating team carried out the project statement and answering the judges in the order within 15 minutes in the order of the lottery. Finally, 152 gold awards and 234 silver awards were produced. 34 items, vocational education tracks and 12 industry proposition tracks. Hubei University of Technology has won 8 gold awards, including 4 main tracks, 2 Red Travel tracks, and 2 industrial proposition tracks.

It is reported that the gold awards projects of the four tracks of Hubei Province will be recommended to participate in the National Finals according to the ranking of the National Competition Organizing Committee, according to the Golden Awards rankings. The National Finals will be held in Chongqing University in late September this year.
