According to the website of the China Science and Technology Association, on July 15, the 63rd International Mathematical Olympic Contest ended. After fierce competition, the six players of the Chinese team won the gold medal with full scores, becoming the only team in this competition, and won the first place in the group with the absolute advantage of 44 points ahead of the second place. Winning the best results in the history of Chinese participation, the Chinese team has also become the second team in the history of this event.

A total of 589 players from 104 countries and regions participated in this competition. The South Korean team won the second place in the group with 3 gold and 3 silver, and the American team won the third place in the group with 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 copper. The Vietnamese team won the fourth place in the group with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 copper.

In recent years, Vietnam's performance in the International Mathematics Olympics is good or bad. In the 62nd International Mathematics Olympic Contest in 2021, the Vietnamese team won 14.
