According to CCTV News on the 6th, on July 5, local time, the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) said that the US Capstone cube satellite lost contact in the process of moving away from the earth's track to the moon. This satellite is one of the "technical operation and navigation test of the moon's independent positioning system". NASA said it is trying to resume the establishment of connections.

According to the China Science Journal, on June 28, the electronic rocket with the technical operation and navigation experiment (CAPSTONE, also known as the "Top Stone") cube satellite in the United States NASA (NASA) Electronic Rockets successfully launched in New Zealand. The Rockets developed by the Rocket Lab.

CAPSTONE cube satellite is part of the U.S. lunar landing plan, Artemis, aiming to test the orbit of the future moon space station. This is the first step of the Artemis plan. Men and the first women gave the moon.

CAPSTONE is currently near -ground orbit, and the spacecraft takes about 4 months to reach the scheduled moon orbit. NASA invites the public to use its "Eye of the solar system" 3D visual web simulation application environment to pay attention to the journey of spacecraft in real time.

CAPSTONE is connected to the "Moon Photon" in the Rocket Lab, which is the third level of the electronic rocket, which will send CAPSTONE into deep space. Shortly after launch, the second separation of the "lunar photon" from the electronic rocket. In the next 6 days, the "Moon Photon" engine will be ignited regularly to accelerate it beyond the near -ground track and place the CAPSTONE cube satellite on the traveled moon transfer track. Capstone will then use its own promotion system and solar gravity to continue sailing to the moon. Gravity -driven orbit will greatly reduce the fuel required for the cube satellite "running moon".

In the end, Capstone will enter the near -line halo track (NRHO). After arriving at NRHO, Capstone will run around the moon within a range of 1,000 miles and the farthest (Antarctic) 43,500 miles away from the moon (North Pole), every 6 days and a half is a cycle for 6 months for dynamic research.

During the mission, Capstone, as the path of the Aldoms plan, provides data on operations in NRHO and verify key technologies.
