More than 70 years ago, Wang Jinxi worked as an oil worker in Yumen Oilfield. He often worked in a class and went to the well field to follow the next class. In 1990, Li Xinmin, who had just arrived at the 1205 drilling team, was exactly the same. He often observed and thought about it after get off work. He regards himself as a student, the team of the whole team is a master. If you don't understand, ask, he will not practice.

In less than half a year, Li Xinmin fully mastered the skills of the six operations of the well team. The glorious history of the 1205 drilling team and the actions of outstanding party members around him have always inspired Li Xinmin. He said that in the 1205 team, pursuing progress is not a choice, but a responsibility. After joining the team, he actively moved closer to the party organization and joined the Communist Party of China in 1994.

Some colleagues said that Li Xinmin's "iron man" was revealed at that time.

In the era of Li Xinmin's work, the pressure and challenges of the 1205 drilling team were not smaller than Wang Jinxi. With the continuous difficulty of drilling in the Daqing Oilfield, Li Xinmin led the 1205 drilling team to break through the flooded drilling area, setting a high level of a cluster well, and hit many "complex wells" and "difficulty wells".

On February 21, 2006, Li Xinmin led the GW1205 drilling team to arrive overseas for the first time and came to Khatoumou, the capital of Sudan. Soon after landing, he rushed to the port of Sudan and checked whether the drilling equipment had arrived.

Wang Jinxi challenged nature, and Li Xinmin challenged the market. Although the 1205 drilling team is famous in China, they do not know them locally, and no one wants to give them the task. After learning that the locally wanted to find a drilling team that could "pick the beam" to take the task, Li Xinmin immediately asked Party A to propose the willingness to play well, and sent the analysis of the well and the invitation book of the entire team.

Faced with such a sincere request, the person in charge of Party A's operation department was surprised. He told Li Xinmin that this well was very risky, and several experienced drilling teams were still hesitating. Li Xinmin immediately said: "I dare to pick up this job, we can do it!"

Daqing, who is familiar with the geological situation, is very difficult to play this horizontal well, and is known as "wearing a needle leader on a kilometer". Li Xinmin knows that the success or failure of this well is related to the status and honor of the team overseas.

As a result, Li Xinmin and the team members carefully planned and sorted out more than 20 operations. As soon as the drill was opened, the team stared at each operation and parameters, and finally completed the drilling 11 days in advance. This well has become the "meritoric well" of PetroChina's overseas market, and it has also become a business card for the 1205 drilling team.

The beginning is simple. In the 5 years of Sudan, the overseas 1205 drilling team set a total of 23 local records, and twice won the "drilling cup" representing the highest honor of Sudan.

In 2011, the Party Group of China Petroleum Natural Gas Group Corporation awarded Li Xinmin's honorary title of "Daqing New Iron Man". In 2016, he joined the Daqing Oilfield Middle East Branch to open up the Middle East market. The amount of contract was doubled year -on -year in one year, and a new breakthrough of the signing contract was achieved within 5 years.

There are many difficulties overseas. In the residents of many countries, Li Xinmin and players can only move in the size of the two football fields. In front of them are iron wire mesh, behind them are warning lines, and the terrorist attacks occur from time to time, but Li Xinmin's motivation has never been discouraged.

"Overseas, most of our team members are Communist Party members, and party organizations are our strong fortress. No matter what difficulties encounter, party members will always rush to the front." Li Xinmin said.

"Iron Man" is never fighting alone. A member of the Communist Party who went overseas to play a pioneer model. Today, the overseas equity output of Daqing Oilfield has reached 10 million tons of scale, forming a new pattern of "stabilizing oil and increasing gas, inside and outside".

From Wang Jinxi, who stands benchmarks on the Qilian Mountain, to Wang Qimin, who climbed the peak of oil technology, to Li Xinmin, who made Chinese petroleum business cards overseas, the iron man's spirit through time and space is still shining.
