The 87 -year -old Cheng Yuxiang was the editor and president of the Xinjiang Military Reclamation News Agency (formerly the predecessor of the Corps Daily) from 1983 to 1995. On May 30, 1983, the Party Committee of the Corps made the "Decision on the Repentance of the Corps of the Corps" and appointed Cheng Yuxiang as the editor -in -chief. It has made positive contributions to the development of the military regiment.
