According to today's Russian TV (RT) website reported on the 18th, Germany's "World News" said that Germany had agreed to provide 18 RCH-155 grenade guns to Ukraine, but the newspaper also quoted the manufacturer's news that the first batch of grenades needed at least 30 guns. It can be delivered in a month.

According to the World News, Ukraine Minister of Defense Lezonikov wrote a letter to Germany's Defense Minister Langbarecht on July 14 to ask Berlin to approve the sale of RCH-155 grenades with a total value of 216 million euros. The newspaper said that for a few weeks, the German government has discussed Kyiv's request many times, but did not make any official response.

On September 16, Ukrainian Agent Ambassador to Germany Andre Melinik (Melinick had previously been lifted by the Ukraine Ambassador) and told the newspaper that Berlin eventually turned on a green light for the RCH-155 grenade. He also said, "This will make great contributions to the large -scale strengthening of the Ukrainian army's strike ability."

The World News quoted the RCH-155 howitzer manufacturer Claus Mafi Wegman (KMW) that the first batch of grenades will be delivered to Ukraine 30 months later. According to Ukraine, KMW will only start production after the German federal government clearly allows these weapons to be exported to Ukraine.

German media pointed out that the ammunition used by the RCH-155 howitzer is the same as the ammunition used by the PZH-2000 self-propelled howitzer made in Germany. Berlin has provided 10 PZH-2000 self-propelled howitzers to Kyiv.

RT reports that senior German officials including German Defense Minister Lanbrecht have stated many times in recent weeks that the German government can no longer provide weapons from Ukraine from its own military inventory, fearing that this will weaken the German Federal Defense Force itself. ability. Lars Klingbeil, co -chairman of the German Social Democratic Party, also explained why Berlin did not want to provide a modern "Leopard 2" main battle tank to Kyiv. Klins Bell believes that it takes a long time to train Ukrainian military personnel to use the tank, so providing such tanks will not have any practical impact. (Edit: HHJ)
