Trap type

There are many types of traps that depend on triggering detonation. In order to deal with IEDs, the U.S. military has thought of many ways. Camouflage

However, when enemy combat workers or civilians use and touch these camouflage strange thunder, they will cause explosion and cause their own casualties. On the Eastern Battlefield of World War II, when the Nazi Germans fought with the Soviet Red Army, they found that the latter liked to use the German -made M24 wooden handle grenade. The wooden handle of this type of grenade is relatively long, with a long throwing distance, high accuracy, reliable fire, and more accurate detonation time, and it is not easy to roll off when throwing it into the highland. After the Soviet Red Army seized the German -made M24 wooden handle grenade, it often used it to eliminate the Nazi German. As a result, some people in the Nazi Germans thought of an extremely insidious idea: Whenever they were evacuated, they left a group of specially modified M24 wooden handle grenade. These grenades have been converted into camouflage strange thunder. The detonation time was shortened from the original 5 seconds to less than 1 second, and even the fire rope was bombed, which caused a lot of casualties to the Soviet Red Army.

Compared with the magazine mine, the butterfly lightning appears earlier. In the Vietnam War, the U.S. military had put a large number of BLU-43/B and BLU-44/B "dragon teeth" butterfly thunder. This miniature landmine with a total weight of only 20 grams, 7.5 cm long, and 4.5 cm wide was originally used for anti -infantry. The U.S. military mainly used its blockade of the famous "Ho Chi Minh path". In the 1980s, when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan into the "quagmire", it also learned that Americans developed their own butterfly thunder. This is the PFM-1 anti-infantry mines. The Soviet army gave this extremely beautiful name for this butterfly lightning- "petal".

The appearance and structure of the PFM-1 anti-infantry mines are very similar to the US-made butterfly thunder, but it has been painted into the earth yellow in order to adapt to the environment of Afghanistan. In addition, the Soviet army also creatively used the long-range large-caliber rocket to put the PFM-1 anti-infantry mines, making it wider and more lethal.
