Yuanwang No. 3 shipwreck to perform maritime measurement and control missions

Yuanwang No. 3 is an aerospace measurement and control ship independently designed and built in my country. It is mainly responsible for maritime measurement and control communication tasks for the rocket high, middle and low -oriented satellites, spacecraft and space stations.

At about 9 am today (August 22), Yuanwang No. 3 was slowly away from the Chinese satellite marine measurement control department pier and went to the task waters to perform new measurement and control tasks.

During the stop of the pier, the scientific and technological personnel completed the comprehensive maintenance and testing of Yuanwang No. 3 carrier measurement and control equipment, and carried out various practical operation drills for the task, laying a solid foundation for the smooth sailing.

Sun Jiangping, Director of Yuanwang No. 3 Shipbuilding Planning Department: This sailing, we are facing practical tests such as long navigation time, large changes in time differences, and measuring meteorological changes in the sea area. In response to these situations, we focus on strengthening risk control, comprehensively maintaining the examination equipment, solid training in personnel training, and conducting supplies of materials in secret, and fully preparing for the task of sailing.

Since the beginning of this year, Yuanwang No. 3 has saved more than 70 days, and successfully completed three maritime measurement and control missions represented by Shenzhou 14 manned flight missions. The task is all successful. Yuanwang No. 3 is the second -generation aerospace measurement and control ship independently designed and built in my country. It is mainly responsible for maritime measurement and control communication tasks of the Rockets high, middle, low -oriented satellites and spacecraft and space stations. The more than 100 maritime measurement and control missions represented by Shenzhou, Chang'e, and Beidou were successfully completed, and the success rate of measurement and control was 100 %.
