The three major shipbuilding groups in South Korea have received more than $ 30 billion in new orders this year

The new shipping orders of the three major shipbuilding groups in South Korea are close to the expected goals throughout the year.The realization of this achievement has benefited from its series of orders in the field of shipbuilding.

According to the Yonhap News Agency, South Korean Shipbuilding Ocean KSOE, Daewoo Shipbuilding DSME, and Samsung Heavy Industry have reached 87%of the expected goals at the beginning of the year.

In the first seven months of this year, the three shipbuilding groups received a total of $ 30.5 billion in new shipbuilding orders, equivalent to about 87%of the total target of 35.14 billion US dollars.

Among the three major shipbuilding groups in South Korea, KSOE has received a maximum share order so far, totaling $ 17.9 billion.The total value of the new shipbuilding orders from DSME and Samsung Heavy Industries was 6.4 billion and US $ 6.3 billion, respectively.

The surge in LNG ship orders is one of the main driving force. KSOE also obtained a $ 1.5 billion LNG ship order from a company that has not yet disclosed last week.
