In July, in the Zhejiang Exhibition Hall 1, 2, and 3 exhibition hall, under the intersection of lights and colors, 102 portraits of the "Zhijiang model" were welcomed and shocked. For more than 100 years, the heroes and children on the land of the river have been set at their most gorgeous moment, as if they were in front of them. This is the special exhibition site of the "Hundred Years of Tide · The Model of the Jiang". 91 single portraits are arranged regularly. Although they are quietly displayed in the exhibition hall, it contains the power of hard work; 11 group paintings are magnificent, as if the mountains and rivers are rising.

These instant captures are more than 100 teachers and students from the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts. After half a year, they were heroes with Dan Qing painting.

When we stopped in front of a vivid portrait and felt the history and strong vicissitudes of the rivers of the hundred years, we also became curious about these paintings. To this end, we interviewed the painters participating in it to explore the mystery of successful creation of major theme art works.

This painting project started in the summer of 2021. At that time, the Propaganda Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Organ Working Committee, the Party History and Literature Research Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Education Department, the Provincial Retired Military Affairs Department, the Provincial State -owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and other units jointly launched 102 "model models". It is the heroes and advanced models of the Zhejiang Revolution, construction, and reform.

As the summer vacation is coming, the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Painting Arts call on young artists to pick up the brushes and participate in the "Zhijiang model" to study and propagate. Immediately received a strong response.

The Chinese Academy of Fine Arts finally transferred more than 100 teachers and students, led by the leadership team of the School of Painting Arts, members of the famous incubation plan, and the teachers of various departments led. This project started from the "July 1st" party commemorative day last year.

Every painter was asked about such two questions: "What allows us to sit in the studio to create in the studio?"

Yuan Ke, who was studying in the third grade of the Department of Oil Painting, was in front of his work and stopped. This is a 200*100cm vertical oil painting, "One Six Martyrs". "Among the six brothers, the smallest is Hu Congshen. At that time, he was generally older with me. Probably because of age, I often felt the passion and strength he brought to me." It has been a few months to put down the brush. Will look at the notes and materials left in the creation process again and again.

"The model is a dream." More than one creator sighed sincerely. Many of them, when reading the model information, can't help crying: "Draw a model, just to draw the dreams in their hearts."

In the interview, the most deepest feeling is that almost every teacher or student who gets the task will be excitedly talked about the experience of going to the model of the model or work.

In July last year, the two students from the Department of Oil Painting and Liu Wei set off from Hangzhou, took a car and took a boat, and came to the coastal lighthouse in the eastern coast of Zhejiang in Zhoushan. On more than 1,300 landmark islands in the eastern part of Zhejiang, each island has a lighthouse. The family of Ye Central is the guardian of the flower and bird lighthouse, the four generations of the grandchildren, with the island as the home, guarding the lighthouse for the maritime fishermen, and guiding the night navigation boat.

In the lighthouse display room, I saw the deeds of the mottled lamps and the lighthouse workers on the wall. Listening to the waves, they patted the reefs. The two boys thought about their thoughts, and the creative inspiration was inspired by it.

"When you go to the field to visit, you can see and hear are particularly precious creative materials, all of which make the characters in the format more lively." Yang Ming said. In the portrait completed by their cooperation, the "Four Generations of the Pagoda" of the East China Sea crossed the time and space, gathered in the painting, holding a red navigation lamp, behind the tall lighthouse and the endless sea.

At the same time, creating historical figure paintings should be based on the study of literature, biography, letter, and monographs, and also refer to a large amount of video visual data. This is actually another scene.

Chen Xinyi, a junior of the comprehensive painting department, felt the same. When I saw the college startup activities, she reported the first time, "I chose to draw a well -known female village secretary of the country."

In her mobile phone, there is still a photo of Lan Hangying's life -in the sun, Lan Hangying, wearing a floral shirt, smiled slightly, short hair, simple and natural. This is what she retrieved from a lot of information and was regarded as a treasure.

"In the beginning, I couldn't find a breakthrough in the performance until I found this photo, making me feel that she was a lot kind." She said.

In the portrait, Hang Ying's hands were slightly intertwined and drooped naturally. For this small detail, Chen Xinyi specifically found a model aunt who was similar to Hi -English, and asked her to set up four or five postures. "In the process of creating a portrait for Secretary of Hi, I never knew her to become extremely admirable, and I also gained a lot in my profession." Chen Xinyi said.

One of the special features of this exhibition is that the side of each work is posted on the creative experience of teachers and students: "Every time I listen to Shi Guangnan's works, I always make me inexplicable excitement and impulse. I think this is music. The power, it has a strong historical penetrating power invisible. " The team is our role model. "The creative notes of the teachers and students are like a dialogue that spans time and space, and it is like a special ideological and political lesson.

From summer to winter, the creation cycle of the entire project was not completed until January 2022. What the organizer did not expect is that at the beginning, I just hope that everyone will complete this as a summer vacation. A graduation work. "

Young artists are like a group of stars. In the process of "chasing the stars", through vague historical photos, durable paper, walking into a lively life and touching stories, to understand and present the spirit of Zhejiang with the posture of today's audience.
