For the first time, it opened a lotus germ resources for scientific research to the public.It is understood that there are not only Chinese native species "big sprinkler" and "thousands of lotus" in the lotus species of lotus species.Hundreds of "spikes" lotus such as peony lotus "" pink bully "," lift lights "," autumn peony "and other lotus flowers.Wuhan Botanical Garden has preserved more than 1,000 lotus germ resources, accounting for 80%of the total number of lotus resources in the country.

Because of the scientific research purposes of lotus germ resources, it is generally not open to the public.However, there are special lotus exhibition areas in the botanical garden, collecting and cultivating more than 200 varieties, covering three categories: 藕 不过, Zilian, and Hualien.
