Panyu Charity Venture Capital | Small Community Research Officer's Painting Community Map

On July 1st, the "Little Community Research Officer -the Flowing Children's Power Plan" (fourth phase) was held in Panyu District 2022 (7th) Public Welfare Charity Venture Capital Contest. Essence This project is led by the Panyu District Civil Affairs Bureau, the Panyu District Charity Association, the Panyu District Social Organization Federation, hosted by the Xuqin Song Art Foundation of Guangdong Province, and co -organized by the Suiti Villagers Committee of Kobashi Street, and the Women's Federation of Suishi Village, Oguwei Street.

The theme of this event is "Draw a Community Map". The map is a window to understand the community. In order to guide the children to draw a community map, the instructor prepared many various maps to inspire children how to draw a standard map and explain the precautions for drawing community maps.

Coinciding with typhoon weather, the mentor cannot lead the children to visit the community. In order to draw the community map, the mentor guides the children to start recalling "where the community impresses you most or where your favorite place is". Children gradually start their own drawing process by observing and learning different maps.

As a result, we saw the maps of each group, showing different appearances and characteristics. From the big banyan trees in the school, the large archway in the village to the red flag of the village committee, etc., the grass and one tree of Suishi Village have long been engraved in the hearts of the children.

Outside of school and family, the community is one of the important spaces for children's daily life. "Little Community Research Officer -Planning Plan for Migrant Children" as a series of theme research activities, hoping to lead the community mobile children to explore the communities they live in in -depth, re -construct the connection with the "nearby" Children's sense of belonging to the community. In the end, I hope that the children will become the "small research officer" of the community, leading more children to explore the beauty of life together.
