Stupid comma

Small fish/text

On this day, the weather was fine, and I filmed bugs by the stream in the back mountain. In the late spring and early summer, the leaves on the tree began to flourish. I walked through a begonia tree. How tall this tree is. Looking up, there are dozens of white silk on the back of a leaf. There is also a small white dot. Huh? what is this? I was curious, so I pulled the branches in front of my eyes carefully. I found that there were more than twenty silk on this leaf, and one end was connected to the leaves. These filaments are very thin, but they look strong. There are small milky white things hanging on these silk, smaller than millet grains, and look like a comma hanging upside down.

Grass Egg

What are these "comma"? Why is it on the tree? I don't think this will grow on the leaves. It should be made of some bugs. It looks like an egg of a kind of bug.

Grasshopper

When I got home, I found the answer on the insect book. This milky "comma" was the eggs of the grass. These bugs can produce hundreds of eggs, which are hung on the leaves. Caoyu is still very common in the back mountain. Basically, it starts with the leaves just growing the leaves, and they can be seen in the late summer and early autumn. Most of the grassy heads, chests, and abdomen on the back mountain are emerald green, and even translucent wings are green. Only the eyes look red -brown and have a metallic luster. It's like the exquisite crafts carved by the carved master with jasper. But I still feel puzzled, why is such a beautiful bug that low -key eggs behind the leaves? Thinking about it, it may be because they are too fragile. Hanging with silk threads in a hidden place is convenient to hide and prevent it from being eaten directly by other bugs.
